For many years I have grown the chilli pepper called Apache. Good size and heat. Not the hottest but on once trying one I thought I would have to be admitted to hospital! Be careful what you handle after chopping the pods! The plant will live for many years but is very susceptible to aphid. I replace my plant every year.
