The Oxford English Dictionary definition: n. Seemingly absurd though perhaps actually well-founded statement (HYDROSTATIC paradox); self-contradictory or essentially absurd statement; person or thing conflicting with preconceived notions of what is reasonable or possible.
Three years of work during my spare time turning our back garden into a user friendly garden with a verandah and ornamental pool with a fountain. An exercise in earth moving logistics and recycling.
I first tried this dish on the Greek island of Skiathos many years ago. It was in a little village called Troulos. Therewere only a handful of tavernas and one was offering rabbit in sweet red wine. It was fabulous. Before we left for home we bought a bottle of Mavodafni (or Mavodaphne) wine so we could replicate the recipe at home.
Motto: Do something good each day and don’t get caught.
Camera shy, though goodness knows why, there as only me and a camera. Good fun to do and shows me doing what I love most and that’s foraging.
